I just bought Miayi's custom bait :3 Custom bait means that the doll has been used and is at a reduced rate. In this case, I paid $60 as opposed to $120 new.
I've also bought her a new dress, new eyechips, and new hair. I'll post pictures of every stage of my customization.
New pictures of Soup should be coming soon as his eyes should be arriving this week. 6060 is in Washington DC and they ship USPS first class, so I'm expecting 8 days at most.
Yes, pictures finally. I hate taking pictures of projects that aren't yet finished, but I did. Because I've been talking about pictures of the CS Plush dog for a few weeks now :3 I haven't any close-ups of his face because he's... erm... Lacking in facial detail. Stupid eye place takes so long to ship that I've ordered eyes from another place as well, they should arrive sometime in the next week (at which time there will be even more pictures.) The original dog that I'm working off of is this one: Click Me It's black with blue eyes. Soup will have green eyes simply because I don't want to waste blue eyes on him (since I'm not selling him, he shall live with me forever.) He looks brown in the picture below but he's not, he's a charcoal grey. The only pure black fun fur I could find was the type they make doll wigs out of, amazingly long, fluffy, and matted. Not the sort of stuff that you'd want to have a dog made out of. His name won't always be Soup, it's temporary. That's Soup. Of course, he needs eyes, a nose, and only then can I sew up his back and attach his ears (which have ear-insides made out of green tye-dyed cotton) but he still looks a little like a dog, to me. You can click on the picture to see him in greater detail. His muzzle is part of the side of his face, and though it looks absolutely Huge in the picture, it's only because the camera was very, very close. It's actually quite small. I'm by no means a whizz at taking pictures, and so the backdrop of the picture and the floor of the picture are both Ikea pillows :3 He is very sweet in real life, and is very firmly stuffed. I'll try and take a picture of the studio, there was fluff EVERYWHERE! Those fun fur fabrics really, really shed. I'm still working on a cat pattern. What I like about fun fur is that you cannot see the seams (and so you can't see any mistakes I may or may not have made X3). Fleece is good too but it just doesn't have the same fluffy appeal.
He's on the way. Eyes were ordered from 6060, pictures shall be up when they arrive. I got a set of 10 eyes in basically every colour of the rainbow. Soup will have green eyes, because I hate to waste good ones that might possibly be used for sold items but I can't bear to part with him. His muzzle needs a little fixing up. Expect pictures in a few days. -Rose

about us
Hi there, I'm Rose. I'm 15 years old, in high school, and I live in Canada, in Ontario (that ugly eastern province.)
I love stuffed animals with personality, and I have many Uglydolls.
I've taught myself Adobe Photoshop and Flash, HTML and CSS, and am *trying* to fully learn (I have a basic knowledge) PHP and MySQL.
Anything you chuck at me I'll customize :3 I'm quite artistic and always have some sort of project on the go (sewing, amugurumi, resin, Pullip, or digital art.)
You may contact me at obviouslydevious@hotmail.com.
Miayi is the name of my little imaginary friend that I had when I was very small. I think that this friend sparked my creativity and I can thank her for everything I do now.
I'm currently working on her in doll form, and I think she inspired my gothic style of dress.
Miayi should be coming soon as a Pullip doll. Check back in the blog every so often to see if there's anything about her progress.
